Vim'zards
Vim’zards is a prototype built around the idea of interacting with the world using real Vim commands. Objects in the level open text buffers that you edit to fix or activate them, using the same logic and keystrokes as in Vim. This build includes the early Sandstorm level, giving a small taste of the core concept: moving through a simple environment, opening documents, and solving basic text-based interactions.
A wide range of Vim commands is already implemented, including navigation, editing, deletion, text objects, search, repeat actions, and more. The prototype also includes the :editor command, which opens an empty buffer for practicing and experimenting outside of the main puzzles.
This is an early experimental release focused on demonstrating the mechanic and evaluating how natural it feels to use Vim as the primary interaction method. Future versions aim to expand the environment, deepen the puzzle design, and introduce more advanced command-based interactions.
